Eclectic Force: Vinfast’s MPV7
While India’s EV ecosystem still has some catching up to do with the developed world, the ambitious Vietnamese manufacturer, VinFast, certainly wants a slice of India’s electric MPV pie. Vietnam is just days away from making its cities EV-only, and with a massive market share and production capability in its home country, VinFast sees potential in the Indian MPV space, too. Enter the MPV 7, a spacious, practical, family-oriented electric MPV. It will go directly up against the Mahindra XEV9S, the BYD eMax 7 and the Kia Carens Clavis EV. So how does it stack up against the competition?
Tax Benefits: Triumph
I would imagine news of Triumph downsizing its 400cc motorcycles has already reached you by the time you’re reading this. It’s been a much talked-about move of late, all in Bajaj’s interest to slot its range of premium motorcycles into a less-punishing GST slab unlike the one recently levied on motorcycles above 350cc. While the directive itself demands questioning, seeing as motorcycles do the ecosystem huge favours (higher efficiency, lower congestion as compared to cars), how this affects your Triumph aspirations is what I’ll attempt to answer.

Triumph Tracker 400 launched at ₹2.46 lakh
After downsizing the TR series engine from 398 cc to 349 cc, Triumph has introduced its latest model based on the platform — a street-tracker. Taking inspiration from flat-track bikes, it gets a wide, flat handlebar, a boxy fuel-tank, race-plate-style side panels and a rear-seat cowl. Even the 17-inch MRF Revz FD1 tyres are unique to the Tracker. The bike shares its engine tune with the Thruxton, which means it produces 39.4 bhp and 3.26 kg-m.

Crude oil, gas derivative prices to remain high till supply chains normalise, says Ind-Ra
The ceasefire in West Asia could ease supply‑shock fears and the resultant rally in chemical costs, but the lingering uncertainties would keep prices across crude oil and natural gas derivative chains elevated until supply chains normalise, India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) said on Friday.
